BetterInvesting National Convention Brings Wealth of Investing Knowledge to Dallas June 23-26; Includes free public day on June 25

TROY, Mich., June 2, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — BetterInvesting™, an educational nonprofit founded in Detroit in 1951, will celebrate its 70e anniversary at its national congress in dallas, June 23-26. And yes, we can do the math. Due to the pandemic, the 70e the anniversary celebration was delayed for a year. But this year, we’re going all out with over 60 classes for everyone from beginner to advanced investors, all at the Westin Dallas Park Central Hotel, 12720 Merit Drive, dallas.

Participants can choose from a powerful sample of classes on small cap stocks, building a retirement portfolio, high net worth investing, investing in today’s environment, dividends, the technology sector, real estate investment trusts, estate planning, exchange-traded funds and much more. Notable keynote speakers are: Ralph AcamporaCMT, the “godfather of technical analysis”; Spencer McGowan, Chairman of McGowanGroup Asset Management; and Sam StovallChief Investment Strategist at CFRA.

BetterInvesting is based on proven investment principles that have withstood both bull and bear markets. As BetterInvesting’s premier event, the convention is organized by the dedicated members of BetterInvesting’s Volunteer Advisory Board. Skilled volunteers join renowned professionals to deliver training during dozens of sessions on stock analysis, college payment and other personal finance topics, mutual funds, portfolio management and many critical issues for today’s investor. The courses are available for both the novice investor and the experienced trader. And in a special series of hands-on sessions, beginners can learn how to apply BetterInvesting’s proven principles and use the association’s analytical tools to evaluate stocks.

The convention is organized by the BetterInvesting Volunteer Advisory Board (BIVAB) and as such all proceeds benefit the BIVAB. Participation in BINC helps support the mission of BIVAB and BetterInvesting by providing resources to local chapters and volunteers.

Saturday June 25is the free public day where participants have the choice of seven courses, but a highlight will be by Sam Stovall main presentation:Outlook 2022: is it time to buy or bail out?, a discussion of “how stock history can serve as a virtual valium, soothing investors’ nervous nerves”. It will also offer profitable sector rotation recommendations.

Another major event on the public day is “Hot Topics in Investing,” by Lori Schock, ddirector of the Office of Investor Education and Advocacy of the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Saturday’s public day includes presentations by major companies at the business show, as well as door prizes. The public day starts early at 8am and continues throughout the day, with the latest course picks from 4:15 p.m.
