CPA governors resolve disputes ahead of National Convention

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa state said All Progressives Congress (APC) governors had resolved their differences ahead of the party’s national convention on March 26.

Sule, who is the chairman of the media committee for the APC national convention on March 26, said this in a statement signed by Alhaji Garba Shehu, the secretary of the committee on Monday in Abuja.

Sule spoke at the inauguration of the Media Committee and its various sub-committees in Abuja.

“The party leadership under Governor Mai Mala Buni and the members of the Extraordinary Convention Interim and Planning Committee (CECPC) are doing everything possible to bring everyone in.

“I believe this is the only path to a successful convention and election victory. We believe in unity in diversity, and that’s our convention’s mantra,” he said.

Sule said arrangements are being made to ensure the party’s national convention on March 26 goes off without a hitch.

He said the committee was divided into sub-committees which quickly pursued their various missions aimed at ensuring the success of the convention.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reported that about 4,000 delegates from the 36 states of the federation and the FCT are expected at the convention to elect the party’s new national leaders.
