The others are: the Protocol Committee with Biodun Olujimi, the senator from Ekiti Sud as chairman; the medical commission – Nuhu Zagbayi; and the Secretariat Committee – Umaru Ibrahim Tsauri, national secretary of the PDP.

Inaugurating the sub-committees, Fintiri expressed his belief that the October convention would be a success and lead the PDP to victory in 2023.

He said the leaders and members of the subcommittees have been carefully selected to organize a credible convention for the party.

The governor of Adamawa urged them to make the necessary sacrifices to offer the best convention to the party.

Responding to questions from reporters after the inauguration, Fintiri said that under the new PDP constitution, more than 6,000 delegates are expected to attend the convention.

“We are perfectly prepared for this. We expect everyone in every ward who is a delegate to attend the convention, ”he said.

He said the subcommittees had received instructions and needed to go back, adequately prepare and submit their report to the main committee for approval.

Regarding which part of the party’s constitution could be amended, Fintiri said he could not anticipate the constitution subcommittee, but allow it to do its job.

On the road traveled by the zoning committee after the week-long appeal it made to them last week, the governor said the committee was meeting in Enugu to carry out its responsibilities.

“You can see the party is working, and this is a turning point for all of us,” Fintiri said.
